The First Problem
So, if was an exciting day two Saturdays ago when I took Pam in to Eugene for a new stereo. Really, it is the stereo of my dreams, as I finally have an iPod connection in a car.
Here she is, getting ready for some other dude to work on her.
But, alas, as I pulled Pam into the shop, I noticed something strange. A coolant leak!
She was dripping green all over the stereo store’s shop.
After getting her home, pops and I diagnosed the problem. Apparently, she blew an O-ring on a warning light sensor that screws into the excess coolant tank. That’s right. Really, it was simple to find and had a low cost to fix — $8.
So, this Saturday, I will replace the sensor and she will be back on the road, tunes and all. Also, just to be safe, I went and replaced the entire excess coolant tank.
gotta love an easy car fix, its almost cooler to have something go wrong and fix it then to just have the car running fine. well, maybe not. but its still cool.
check out that white rabbits album if you haven’t already, good shizzle
I think I’m jealous.
